| Ensign Engineering makes
available to its clients the benefits gained from years of experience designing and
commissioning mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Our staff includes mechanical
and electrical engineers and design technicians who are expert in the various building
codes (BOCA, National Electric Code, NYC Building, Fire and Electric Codes), and
construction and life safety standards (ANSI and NFiPA). Our design teams are computer
savvy. Our drawings are CADD generated and our specifications follow CSI format.
Specifically our MEP designs have been successfully applied to schools, health clubs,
restaurants, warehouses, office spaces and buildings, retail stores, and manufacturing
operations. HVAC Designs have included gas fired steam absorption, centrifugal chilled water systems, air cooled packaged rooftop systems, and cooling tower water cooled heat pump and AC systems. Capacities have ranged up to 750 tons. Electrical designs have included new and reinforced electric service, distribution, power and lighting. Service has included both 480V and 220V systems. Plumbing designs have included new and upgraded domestic hot and cold water supply and distribution, sanitary and storm drainage, and building vent systems. Sprinkler System designs include wet and dry pipe systems, pre-action systems, deluge systems, and chemical fire protection systems. Fire standpipe systems have included both interior and exterior wet and dry systems. Smoke control designs have included stair pressurization systems, and smoke purge systems. Fire detection and alarm designs have included coded and uncoded systems. |
